After reading this about urban trees and income inequality, I was curious how the “City in the Forest” looks compared to some of the given examples. The top image is over Inman Park (median household income over $80k annually), the bottom is over southwest Atlanta’s Pittsburgh (median income less than $20k annually). I picked both neighborhoods completely off the top of my head, and while it looks like tree coverage is much denser in IP, this fact remains pretty obvious: Atlanta’s got a shit-ton of trees all over the damn place!
